Dogs and Puppies - Vary
Why do our adoption fees vary?
We price our dogs based on adoptability, which takes into account many factors including, breed, age, sex, size, color and temperament. More adoptable dogs and puppies are priced higher than less adoptable dogs and dogs with high medical costs who are adopted at a loss. Caring for animals is expensive, and in addition to the routine care we provide, many of our animals have unexpected medical costs on top of that. Just one emergency surgery can cost thousands of dollars.
What is included in your adoption?
All dogs get microchipped, spayed or neutered, as well as the first year of vaccinations as part of the adoption fee. This includes bordetella vaccination (kennel cough) for the First 6 Months , DA2PP vaccinations, and rabies vaccination. They also get heartworm tested, one flea treatment.
